**BridgePort’s HBCU Initiative**

A new student engagement partnership to address workforce development challenges for the nation's Historical Black Colleges and Universities. The goal is to educate, train and mobilize students at our HBCU campuses to benefit from employment and mentoring opportunities in the global supply chain, logistics, emerging technology, warehouse and inventory management, and distribution.
Students need the relevant knowledge and skills to develop abilities that allow them to connect to meaningful employment. BridgePort is working to Increase the pipeline of African American supply chain professionals and leaders through the integration of supply chain academic programs and strengthening university-level student engagement.
